The design inspiration for the “Die Lian Hua Yu” bookmark and brooch gift box derives from the Qing Dynasty’s green-ground, eight-panel floral damask cotton robe held in the Palace Museum. The design extracts the floral motifs and butterfly patterns, and employs a carefully selected alloy multi-colored hollow electroplating technique to vividly recreate the beauty of the cultural relic.
