“紫禁” (Zǐ Jìn) refers to the Forbidden City, the imperial palace complex in Beijing, China. “印象” (Yìnxiàng) means impression. Therefore, “紫禁印象” (Zǐ Jìn Yìnxiàng) describes the impression or perception of the Forbidden City, often used to refer to artistic or cultural representations, products, or experiences that are inspired by or related to the Forbidden City.

The design of this notebook is inspired by the panoramic view of the Forbidden City from Jingshan Park, featuring the three central halls of the Outer Court: the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the Hall of Central Harmony, and the Hall of Preserving Harmony. The main color scheme is based on the yellow glazed roof tiles and the red walls of the Forbidden City. The design is presented in a layered paper format.
