The design inspiration comes from The Qing Dynasty painting Hai Cuo Tu, The Map of The Sea draw by Nie Huang, which is saved in The Forbidden City Museum. This set of metal bookmarks features three classic marine creatures from Hai Cuo Tu: The print fish, sea eel, and crimson swallow. The material used is enamel-like and brass, with an overall bright and vivid color scheme. The upper part of The bookmark is the colorful marine creatures in a round shape, while The bottom part is a hollowed-out brass bookmark, complemented by laser-engraved wave patterns. The design is both exquisite and interesting, offering a great balance of aesthetic appeal and practical utility.
