The design inspiration comes from Haicuo Tu (海错图), is known as “Sea Mistakes Map” in English, is a famous Chinese poem written by the poet Li Bai during the Tang Dynasty. The poem is renowned for its vivid imagery and deep philosophical meaning.

“Hai Cuo Tu” is a set of bizarre sea creature illustrations created by Nie Huang, a cartoonist and avid naturalist, during the early Qing Dynasty.
